This past weekend

I have been incredibly busy this past weekend with shopping and school work and trying to get ready for my trip! I'm finally excited though, which is such a relief! I thought the excitement would never kick in! I'm also very excited about having Thursday off, or rather taking Thursday off to go get myself compeltely together---last minute shopping at CVS, haircut!!! and my nails done! I haven't had a manicure/pedicure since Christmas. And I'm not a very girly girl, but I do get pleasure from a good mani/pedi! I used to go weekly and then realized what it was doing to my wallet, so I stopped in order to save money for the cruise and pay off some credit card debt.

So Friday I went shopping. I went to AE again and picked up some more great things:



As well, I picked up a few "gifts" for me and Stephen to enjoy without the company of our friends. Plus a couple of bathing suits, a pair of board shorts and a couple of other odds and ends.

When I got home, Stephen and I went to dinner at Fridays, then back to my house. We sparred for the first time since I started taking kickboxing, it was fun, but I'm definitely not up to his level yet, then again he's also been doing stuff like that alot longer! We laid around and talked about how we haven't been very intimate as of lately. He said its not me (what a relief) and that its because he's exhausted from working, and he's working for us so that I don't have to worry about my bills and we don't have to worry about money on the cruise. Exactly what I was hoping to hear! Around 9:15, Stephen went home so I could take my theory placement test. I did awful, but then it turned out Starurday morning I found out, if I had planned on taking the pre-req course, I didn't actually have to take the test! what a waste of my friday night that could have been spent cuddling with my honey!

Saturday, I spent the say working on school stuff, same as Sunday, and took a break to go to a couple of local stores, both days. Saturday Stephen slept over and I wrote half a paper while he fell asleep at 9:30. He really has been working a ton, and I told him how much I appreciate that he's doing it all for us. I also told him I'm looking really forward to having our normal life back!

Yesterday I went to Target and picked up all essential toiletries. I got ahead on school work for class, and now I shouldn't have much more outside of posting to worry about on the cruise (quite a relief!)

That's it for now. Its been a very busy Monday, non-stop kids all morning! I am so hungary and really looking forward to lunch.

Before I go though, a HUGE thank you to Abby for replying to my DOD post. I have a ton to think about and she really reminded me of some important facts. Busy keeping faith! and trying to be brave!
