So I found my first blogger blog this afternoon, and it was Mindy Kaling's and I got so excited, but I couldn't leave a response. This made me a little upset...Mindy, please let me post....here's what I wrote before it told me no:
I google "the office strike" and your blog was the third thing to come up. First off, nice to meet you. I enjoy your sense of humor and brilliance of being "that" girlfriend!
Anyhow, you make some really valid points and I'm 100 % behind everyone involved in the strike (on the good side, those who want to get paid).
Also, I can't believe no one left you comments. I too would not want to sit next to Bono at a dinner party, and I have had that very discussion with friends about how he's too into the whole thing. I worked at the gap for a while and we started selling the productRed stuff when I was there, every video I had to watch was Bono in Africaa hugging kids. Sad, tear jerking, and heartfelt yes, but a bit much if I do say so for a video meant to say "sell it, don't let it get stolen".
I woulsn't say that you're the worst person to be speaking out. I think its great that you do. Plus you wrote all those "promotions" and you deserve your due. Good luck!
