Blogger requires you to be less technologically savvy. It's easy to put pictures and blog bling. Downfall, if you want to pw protect the blog you have to do the whole thing and if people use a reader like LiveFeed or Google Reader new posts don't show up.

However, WordPress is more tricky to use. I'm still getting the hang of it. I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I had a WordPress blog for a year before I switched because I couldn't master it. I made the switch because the mother of a girl I knew in high school found my donor blog. What kind of 60 year old woman patrols infertility blogs anyway? So, with WordPress you can password protect specific posts and the fact that there is a pw protected post is indicated in a reader so readers still know it's there. Ya know?

I did have to let everyone know I was moving and asked them to email me or find me in some way so I could send them the pw and to make sure the mom was not following.

Now, that I've done it, I'm extra happy because when do have baby I can post pics on protected posts.
