Oh What a Night!

Since Stephen's away, I decided that I was gonna go out, he told me to make sure I have fun this weekend, preferably without getting sick or messy and as long as I was safe. So I went to Effin Gruven with Kerin and Spencer and Kerin's friend Tim. It was basically a night filled with complete laughter.

I walk in, and Kerin is standing there with a girl I used to hang out with when I was 14 or 15, basically Kerin knows everyone from my past and I know wveryone she currently hangs out with. So then some guy comes over and asks what we're drinking, Kerin ordered an Original Sin Cider and I said I'd try one too. Tastes like apple juice! Which I knew would mean danger, so I only drank about 3/4 of it and then ordered a New Castle to kinda balance myself out---the only kinda dark beer I can drink and not feel like a giant turd over. MMmmMM tastey.

The spot we were standing was awful because the bathrooms were behind us to the left, and the bar was behind us directly, so we were all dancing all night, then Kerin and I just decided to make it a dance party. Which was uber fun!

Tim actually remembered me from High School, which was because I was in Band and he was in Choir. I felt bad because I really don't remember him outside of meeting him through Kerin. But he's quite a funny guy, and his girlfriend was very nice.

Spencer is *the* black guy to hang out with. He's crazy tall, and has been known to purposefully miss weddings, wear a mohawk, and drink all of the Jack Daniels in the house. Thus he hangs around my boyfriend's friends. He's a complete sweetheart and very funny. It took him a good 20 minutes of talking to me to realize Stephen wasn't with me, and then asked "Where's your sidekick?" "My sidekick? I woulda thought I was his sidekick?!" "no, because you're here, and he's note, he's your sidekick." Great exchange. We also took fun pictures for the night and then went home around 1. Funnest picture---the hand dryer/mouth dryer!

Got home, and who was on Conan, but WILCO!
I was so excited! texted the Erics and then uploaded the pictures. Slept til 12, and now I'm gonna go shower and do my homework. I think I figured out the key to my class---wait for other people to respond to questionsa nd then use their responses to create mine. everyone says the same thing anyway, so what's it matter. Then I need to actually do some work on my own. Blech! Talk to ya later!

we prefer to mix the cider with a darker beer. it creates a good balance.
